Lucky Domestic Medium Hair Bloomsburg, PA

Lucky certainly describes the name of this poor soul. She showed up out of nowhere on the edge of Jody‘s Unityville property in the rain one day in April. Being an animal lover Jody could see even from a distance she was suffering. She put some food out, but Lucky was nervous and ran off. Jody noticed a cat hit by a car in the road nearby and she didn’t want the same fate to happen to this poor girl. Later the same day Lucky showed up tired, sick and scared on her sunporch. She called us for help.

Lucky had a terrible upper respiratory infection with infected sinuses, green nasal drainage and sneezing. Her fur under her eyes had fallen out from excessive eye drainage. Her eyes were red and swollen. Her once pretty medium length fur was now matted and unkempt (see before pics). Jody knew she was a beauty deep down, but just had to help her recover from her illnesses. Left on her own in the state she was in she would not have lasted long.

Lucky is a young approximately 2 year old black white and orange calico with medium length fur. She is interested in other cats, but in a foster home where the cat is not interested in her. She is still a little timid around loud noises and active children, but does purr all the time and enjoys being held. Jody describes her as a happy cat with lots of potential. She is currently in a foster home with children, another cat and 2 dogs. She has recovered from her upper respiratory and now is ready for a quiet forever home.
