Meet Betsy

Betsy is a senior blue heeler mix very sweet and mellow. She can't hear well but if you get her attention she will come to you. This little lady was going to be euthanized until one of our fosters came across her and the chance she needed t olive out her life in safety, love and peace. When pulled from the shelter she was not in great shape. Clearly neglected, severe UTI which is currently being treated with antibiotics and rotten teeth which have been extracted. She was also never spayed. Now, medical issues have been addressed and treated but BOY is she much more animated now! She loves treats and dog biscuits which she turned her nose at before due to the pain. She is crate trained but needs to be on a schedule to avoid accidents. Betsy also gets along well with dogs and ignores her foster mommas cats. Calling all gentle quiet souls looking to give this lady her best final years.
