Flash Hound Mix Eau Claire, WI

Good day! My name is Flash and I am in need of a forever home without cats. I do get along with some other dogs, but not with all of them. I am very friendly and easy-going with children, and I do well with strangers. If you find that I am jumping up on you, it's just because I want to put my head on your shoulder and give you a sweet, loving hug. I am a 9-year-old (I feel like I'm 2) spayed female that is excellent on leash, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go on long walks; if you do as well, I would be the perfect pick for your household.

One thing that I have noticed since I have been here is that my walkers keep asking me to do things like sit, only I have no idea what that means. I usually end up getting a treat anyway, but I am not too sure why. I have heard that there are many basic commands, and I would love to have a home that will spend time teaching me such things as sit, down, come, leave it - you know, the basic stuff. I like playing with toys and people, however, people WITH toys for some reason make me nervous, so I will need a home that will work with me on that.

Perhaps you will stop at my kennel sometime soon to see how beautiful I am - after all, who could resist my long ears and adoring eyes? I always enjoy meeting new people and those famous ear rubs that humans like to give me are the best, but any type of attention is appreciated. I hope that you are as excited about meeting me as I am about getting to know you!
