Meet Frosty
Frosty is a very loving young female rat that was brought to us from the Dane County Humane Society. She was born on 02/27/18, and is a super sweet little girl. She LOVES to be handled and enjoys taking a quick rat-nap on your shoulders or on top of your head. She will cuddle into your hands and give you her adorable look of appreciation for spending time with her. Frosty is simply sweet, sweet, sweet, and will do well in most households. Frosty is also an adventurous girl that loves to investigate her surroundings. She is not afraid of strangers and is used to loud noises. Frosty is happy to show you that rats make wonderful pets and is sure to melt your heart.
Rats are extremely social, and can even be taught tricks! They are very clean animals that do best with large cages that have plenty of things to climb on and hide in. Bird/ferret/rodent toys, boxes, hammocks, baskets, tunnels, baby/cat/dog toys are all fun for rats. As with many animals, rats do best when kept with other rats, so please consider adopting two or more together. To keep rats tame and friendly, make sure to spend ample time with them every day.
We want to alert you that some communities, landlords, management companies, and insurance agencies have size and breed restrictions, limits on number of pets, and/or require pet deposits or additional fees. Before adopting, we encourage all adopters to know what restrictions may apply to you.
