Catniss Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Catniss is a beautiful 1-year-old spayed female with a tuxedo coat and a cute-as-can-be pink nose. She was brought to the shelter as a stray on 04/05/18, and will do best in a quiet home without other cats as she prefers to be your one and only feline princess. You will notice that her ears are a bit shorter than average, which is most likely due to severe frostbite this past winter. It is comforting to know that she won't ever be left in the cold again since she must be adopted as an indoor only cat

Catniss is VERY friendly and loves attention, but is not fond of being held in your arms. She tolerates it, but like many cats, prefers to be petted and scratched while by your side. Neck and ear scratching is the way to her heart, and if you stop too soon, you may find her bunting you or trying to climb to your shoulders while purring a soft melody for you. If you are having a busy day, Catniss is happy to entertain herself by watching for outdoor activity from a window, or chasing down catnip mice. She also loves interactive toys that she can play with her humans, and gets very excited about chasing after laser light dots running across the floor. She loves to play and can be quite the ball of energy when she gets excited. Catniss is a lovely girl waiting to meet you.
