My name is Marielena (aka Little Lamb). I am a 15lb., 8yr. old, senior Bichon Frise mix looking for someone to love me for the rest of my life. I was found as a stray in a rural neighhborhood where kind people kept me alive by bringing me bowls of food. Life was hard and I am thankful to now be a Rescue One dog. I am a sweet, happy, loving girl. My only fault is that I will complain vociferously, if you do not allow me to cuddle with you through the long, dark night. I would love having a fenced yard where I can feel safe when I sunbathe. I need this chance for a wonderful family and life because I don't know how long I have left upon this beautiful earth. I recently had a cancerous mammary tumor removed and reoccurance is a possibility. This will make me less desirable to some people, but I have high hopes of finding a very special family who knows how important the present is. Even though there is a chance I have several years left, feel free to treat me like a princess and indulge my every desire. I would do best if you can make me the center of your world and I will happily make you the center of mine.

My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
