Meet Patty Cakes

Her butterscotch coat burnished by the sun, pretty Patty Cakes, the 1.5-year-old Chihuahua, is now blooming! Petite at a fragile 4 pounds and eager to gain more, she was placed in our care by the Good Samaritan who rescued her after she had been abandoned by her irresponsible owner. Initially fearful of everyone here, she has been learning to trust again, finding increasing joy in being held and being doted on.
