Meet Clemente
Well, there was no gold watch for my retirement, but I'm happy to have my life to myself now! I mean, all 9 years of my life working for a breeder-that's about 65 human years-and nothing to show for it? I was literally just a number to these guys, no name, my whole life. My new name is Clemente, like the beach (San Clemente) in southern California, and I love it!
Anyway, my financial advisor says don't think of it as retirement, think of it as independence to do whatever you like. I like freedom, and doing whatever I like! I've been stuck in that cage all my life. Literally. Time to run in the grass (whoa, mind blowing), cuddle with a human (eventually, be patient with me), and play with new doggy friends! Who knows what else awaits me in this phase of life?
Do you think I could live out my independence at your place? I'm learning house rules like going potty outside (kind of weird), I'm obviously crate trained, I’ve not been around cats or kids but I think I'd be fine with both, and I'm a Cocker Spaniel, only around 20 pounds, so I don’t take up much space!
My adoption fee is sponsored and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
