Meet Chili

Chili is a frisky, young male rat that was brought to us from the Dane County Humane Society. He was born on 02/27/18, and has a handsome white and tan coat. All rat lovers are sure to appreciate his inquisitive personality, as he is definitely a comedian in training. He loves to run up and down your arms and sniff every finger. Chili is a bundle of fun and can entertain you for hours with his curious and playful energy. What a great little rat!!

Rats are excellent pets. They are extremely social, and can even be taught tricks! They are very clean animals that do best with large cages that have plenty of things to climb on and hide in. Bird/ferret/rodent toys, boxes, hammocks, baskets, tunnels, baby/cat/dog toys are all fun for rats. As with many animals, rats do best when kept with other rats, so please consider adopting two or more together. To keep rats tame and friendly, make sure to spend ample time with them every day.
