Esther Pit Bull Terrier Mix Springfield, MO

Hi, my name is Esther and I'm around 18 months old. I am a beautiful, sweet pit terrier lady and weight about 40 lbs. My foster mom doesn't know much about my past except that I was abandoned in the yard for at least a week until a neighbor called the Springfield Police Department who came and saved me. I am housebroken and kennel trained. I seem to like to eat and sleep in my kennel. You must let me outside to do my business as soon as I get out of my kennel so I can go potty. I am working on manners to give people and other dogs their space. I am such a lover and playful I just want to be friends with everyone. I love to lay my head on your lap as you pet my soft fur. My foster mom says it is the softest fur she has ever felt! I also love to give kisses. I am a very polite car rider and love to go on walks although I am working on training not to pull. I know the command "sit" for treats and I am quick learner. I am nice to my foster siblings, even the ones who don't necessarily like me. So far I have liked all humans including my huggy 3-year old and 6-year old foster humans. I would do well in an only dog home if you are an active human who will run and play with me. I love tug of war by the way. Apartment or a house with yard is fine. I would also do well in a home with a playful dog that is bigger than me because I like to play rough and they will need to hold their own. If you want an energetic, happy-go-lucky gal, I'm your girl!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
