Meet ESTHER:: 1 year old, 100 lbs, Spayed Female Great Dane.

Available for adoption!

Sweet Esther was surrendered to a local kill shelter after her family could not afford to feed her. The poor girl was extremely emaciated when she entered the shelter but has gained 24 pounds since she arrived there! The shelter staff reached out to us to rescue this precious girl, and of course, we happily invited her in to our rescue.

Esther still needs to gain quite a bit of weight, but she is well on her way thanks to the shelter's efforts. Esther is very sweet and affectionate, house broken, and good with other dogs and people. Esther's favorite game is tug-o-war with her rope toy.

A completely fenced yard of appropriate height for a Great Dane is REQUIRED to adopt Esther.

We will also be looking for a home who has experience with Great Danes and/or other Mastiff breeds.

$250 adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccines, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and lifetime membership microchip.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs.

Once your application is submitted, you will be redirected to a confirmation page on our website. This is your confirmation that we received your application. Please read the page thoroughly so you will know what to expect next in our adoption process.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
