This gorgeous girl is Alaska. Alaska definitely fits her name as she is wild and free (like most torties). But also like most tortoiseshells she has a very soft, sweet side that she shows more often than not. This pretty girl will not last long so if you're interested in adopting her, not wait!


Adopt from the shelter rather than going to a pet store, through the newspaper, or online! Cats adopted from the shelter are tested for FIV/FeLV (Feline Aids/Feline Leukemia), have the FVRCP combination vaccine, are spayed/neutered, wormed, flea checked and microchipped.

Compare the adoption fee of $50 for an adult cat with the cost of these services at your local veterinarian and you'll see that Adoption IS the Best Option!! Adoption fee for a kitten up to one year old is $65; 2/$75. (Senior cats already spayed/neutered to seniors age 60 and over, adoption fee only $10.)
