Ava Labrador Retriever & Terrier Mix Willingboro, NJ

Hi! My name is Ava and I am a smaller lab/terrier mix. While my pictures might make me look a little on the larger side, I am really not that big and only weigh around 20lbs at ~9mos so shouldn’t get too much bigger. I was found as a young puppy wandering around by myself and a nice lady and her daughter tried giving me a home … but they already had four big dogs that didn’t like me so I spent all of my time either in a crate or in the lady’s room when she wasn’t at work. Unfortunately, that has made me a little shy of new people and situations but with a little TLC, patience, and some treats I will warm right up to you. My new foster parents are great in that they let me come to them when I was ready and now I love getting attention from them and going on walks. I also love playing with the other foster dogs here and have done pretty good about ignoring the cats here. I still am scared of new things but with you by my side showing me that everything will be okay, I will be your loyal friend forever.
