LEXY - I’m a devoted love bug Boxer who loves to play and please!

Lexy is a gentle and affectionate dog with a desire to follow her person and show her love with lots of attention and kisses. She has a fantastic mix of joyful play and mature calmness. She is crate-trained, house-trained, and walks well on leash. She is being fostered in a home with both small and large dogs, and enjoys interacting with both. She shows very little interest in the two cats in the foster home. Lexy is also gentle with children so makes a great family dog. With her desire to please, she is easy to train, and takes simple corrections perfectly.

At the shelter, their guess was that she is about 8 years old, but she has a young dog’s soul, so do not call this spiffy gal a senior, she is far from slowing down! Lexy weighs about 52 pounds and has the slender Boxer body type. She had some small masses on her body, which is very common for dogs her age, but they have been removed, biopsied and they were benign, teeth cleaned, blood work looks very good so she is ready to start her healthy new life in her forever home.
