Swiffer Shih Tzu Aylett, VA

My name is Swiffer and I was found in a ditch in the pouring rain. I was eating chicken bones. I was traced backed to my original owner who microchipped me. She died in 2011. I do not know anything past then. I was not taken care of very well. I developed dry eye condition. Who ever had me never treated my condition. I require daily eye drop ands eye lubricant. Due to a lack of care from this condition my vision is impaired,i can see but i need this medication to maintain my vision. I do not know how I went deaf or why. I am a very sweet boy who is looking to be a companion for some one who can give me lots of love, and be able to give me the eye drops and lubricant I need for the rest of my life. I sit very nicely and allow you to take care of my eyes. I would not do well in a house with kids since i cannot hear. I get along great with other dogs; not sure about cats.
My foster mom has a doggie door that I learned how to use all by myself in 2 days. I am completely house broken. I prefer sleeping in a crate. My foster mom leaves the door open all night. I love to go for walks. I have a yard that I wander around in and I love it. I have a lot of toys that I love to play with. I am UTD on my shots and I am neutered. Other then that all I need for the rest of my life is tons of TLC. I promise to love you in return.
