Pepper Carolina Dog & Shepherd Mix Wake Forest, NC

Pepper came to Saving Grace with her mom and her sister Salt and they have been growing and thriving in a foster home for the past few weeks. She is 10-11 weeks old now. Mom is a nice medium sized dog of about 40 pounds and Pepper will likely be similar looking to Mom when she is full grown. Pepper loves to play outside and often “asks” to go right back outside after coming in. She would love to have a fenced in yard that she can run around and play in. She doesn’t even mind going out for potty in the rain or cold. Pepper is very well behaved in the house as long as she has some doggie toys to keep her occupied. She gets very excited about mealtime and will NOT let you forget when it is getting close to eating time! Pepper is quiet in her crate and is doing great with potty training. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is not at all intimidated by larger dogs. She does well with kids and loves snuggles and attention from kids and adults alike! All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace!
