Salt Shepherd & Carolina Dog Mix Wake Forest, NC

Salt is a such a cute puppy with her all white coat and black ears. She can’t wait to be adopted and go home to her forever family. Salt came to Saving Grace with her mom and her sister Pepper and they have been growing and thriving in a foster home for the past few weeks. She is 10-11 weeks old now. Mom is a nice medium size of about 40 pounds. Salt is the bigger of the two puppies and may end up being a little larger than Mom. Salt LOVES to play outside and her favorite toy is always a stick or woodchip! She doesn’t even mind going out for potty in the rain or cold. She also enjoys playing inside with other puppy toys and is very well behaved in the house. She is quiet in her crate and knows to go to the door to go out for potty. She enjoys the company of her sister and other dogs but would do very well as an only dog as well. She has been in a foster home with children and loves the attention and snuggles from kids and adults alike! Salt will be a great addition to most any family!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace!
