Kota Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Springfield, MO

Hey guys!!! Kota here. I am an Australian Cattle dog mix. I am 45 lbs, and I am told that I am overweight...I'm just big boned, nobody is buying that though. I am between 4 and 5 and I hate to brag, but I am THE smartest dog you will ever meet. I know so many tricks it's like having your own circus in your living room!! I can sit, stay, lay down, shake, salute, play dead and MUCH more. My foster mom says I'm brilliant. I do know a lot of tricks, but I will still need someone to challenge me mentally because I get bored very easily. I graduated the Pups for Parole training program with flying colors, so I have what it takes to get my canine good citizenship! I am so proud of this!

In my foster home, there are a lot of friends to play with- I LOVE to romp around with all of my doggie friends, but I have a tendency to herd them and it kind of gets on their nerves- what can I say...I was born to herd. I get along with all dogs, don't really careabout cats, and I LOVE KIDS and people in general.

I am looking for an active family, that likes to walk, run, hike etc-I need help getting these extra pounds off! I HAVE TO HAVE a fenced in yard, please...and I LOVE chew toys, so if we could throw a few of those into the deal I would be so happy!
