Meet Oreo

We admit, maybe the name is a bit cliché as Oreo is a lab mix who is mostly black with some cool white highlights but we assure you there is nothing cliché about this sweet young man! Oreo is about 10 months to a year old and about 30 lbs though could use to be about 35 when full grown. You will be dazzled, seriously enamored, with this boys two ice blue eyes that are beautiful set and highlighted by his dark coat. We have not a clue where the blue of his eyes came from but know he came from a long line of lab type mutts who are fun, spunky and energetic as well as smart and personable and loving as all get out! Oreo has a great energy level that would be suited for active to at least semi active families of all kinds. He is young enough to need regular exercise daily but is not at all picky about how and where he gest that. He enjoys romping in circles and playing chase with his farm friends and would like to do so with a gaggle of kids in the backyard, on a walk through the neighborhood or though the shops at North Hills where the ladies will oooooh and aaaah over him! While still young, Oreo is not at all crazy and will not be the guy to knock you often or assault the mailman with kisses, but rather the guy to wiggle his fanny madly and make adorable faces of anticipation until he gets some pets and love from whoever is in the vicinity. Oreo has been quiet in his crate and patient for meals and is happy go-lucky, making no demands and finding fun in everything at the farm. Cliché? No way!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Form can be completed online https://savinggracenc.org/how-to-adopt/. Please visit our new website at www.savinggracenc.org

An Adoption Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes.

If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit https://savinggracenc.org/giving/

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
