Meet Janie (MEDICAL HOLD)

While supermodels might scoff at the descriptor Big Boned, here in the dog world we LOVE it as it simply means more to snuggle and love and hug. Janie is proud to be called big boned and is a pure bred Rottweiler who is about 4-5 years old and weighs in at about 60 to 65 lbs of lovableness! Janie is a sweet girl who moves at her own pace which is usually slow and steady, much like her personality. She is NOT crazy and over the top about anything other than wanting a family of her own, a XL dog bed and some treats for noshes in between kisses on a Sunday afternoon. She can be around other dogs without issue though clearly does not need them as she is confident and comfortable within her own skin. She is awesome sauce on a leash and has no problems with car riding, in fact, she would be happy to accompany you just about anywhere but might take exception with having to stuff into a Smart Car. We think Janie would love a home that is more on the quiet and relaxed side as she is kinda done with the excitement of young life and settling into middle age with beauty and grace, more than some of us can claim right? So, in summation, a girl who is not afraid to crunch a biscuit or take up too much space in bed is looking for maybe you, a dog lover in need to a couch warmer and body pillow like companion for a life of love.

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Form can be completed online https://savinggracenc.org/how-to-adopt/. Please visit our new website at www.savinggracenc.org

An Adoption Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes.

If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit https://savinggracenc.org/giving/

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
