Penny American Bulldog & Pointer Mix Willingboro, NJ

Penny is a 75lb. American bulldog / Pointer mix who is a spayed microchipped, housebroken & crate trained girl looking for her forever home. She is appox. 2yrs. old.
She was rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia where they had taken her & her pups from the streets. They took her pups from her which were about 5 weeks old leaving her very little chance of adoption.
So now she is safe in foster care waiting for someone to make her part of their life.
Penny gets along very well with other dogs , adults ( men are her favorite) & children & just loves to play, so very young children may not be a good fit as she can easily knock them over on her enthusiasm to play. We are working on her being with cats as she currently is living with 2 but at this point, cannot be left unsupervised so no cats at this point.
She is a very quick learner & wants to please. She is such a happy dog.
She is very well behaved in the car & loves to go for a ride, long walks or even jogging if that's your thing. She just wants to be part of a family & has lots of love to give.
A yard to run & play in would be a plus & perhaps another dog or two would make her extra happy & help get her energy out. She would do well in a dog park setting.She likes to bring you her toy so you will play with her & if you don't comply with her invite she will "talk at you " until you do.
During her down time from playing she is content to just lay around & cuddle with you & give you lots of kisses or just follow you around the house & even wait for you outside the bathroom door. Likes to be brushed, & she is easily handled .
She could use a bit more leash training otherwise she is a wonderful, sweet girl who would be a terrific companion to someone who is a strong pack leader .
Just take a look at those sweet sad beautiful eyes & she will win your heart.
