Meet Tippy
Tippy is a border collie/greyhound mix and has the puppy energy of a true 7 month old. She has the spirit of never meeting a stranger, Tippy is a very outgoing and friendly pup and was adopted 3 weeks ago, however her puppy energy was just a little too much for the adopter. She was returned and now looking for a family that has the time to provide some obedience training while also allowing her the energy to be a puppy.
Tippy arrived to the ARC as a surprise. One of the shelter employees had noticed a car pulling into the shelter on a closed day, the vehicle was quick to arrive and quick to leave. Upon investigation, Tippy was found without a note, a bed nor an ounce of concern for her well being, this poor puppy was dumped. Dumped no more we say, this girl is sweet, loving, loves the couch, loves her treats and loves to play in the yard with Laverne and Shirley. She is dog and cat friendly, although the cats don't like to play as much with her and she loves to carry toys around. Tippy uses the doggie door well and enjoys going for walks, she has a little work to do on a leash, however she is coming along very nicely. Tippy will be spayed on the 12th of February, she will be available to go home on Valentines Day weekend.
