“Hi! My name is Kevin! I’m a one year old jack russell terrier who had a ruff start. I was left at the local dog shelter with a badly broken leg. Fortunately, this great group called Speak for the Unspoken saved me. However, my leg was unable to be saved so now I have three legs. That doesn’t stop me! I am also deaf because I inherited a recessive trait in my genes, but I am being taught basic sign language skills in foster care. I am still a classic, high energy jack russell! I am constantly on the go and need a family that can show me stability and routine since I haven’t had any in the past. I’m a lot of fun and am working on some basic house skills. I enjoy the company of other dogs and am learning a lot from them. Ideally, I need a fenced yard because I am a little too excitable on the leash. Foster mom says I’m going to make an amazing companion for a lucky family. I’m very social with people and enjoy hogging my people to myself. I currently attend doggy day care to help keep me busy, so I’d love a family to continue my training that I’ve learned so far in foster care. I promise, I’ll be worth it! Will you adopt me!?”
