Meet Meyer
Meyer arrived at the shelter after being rescued from the streets of Boston. He is approximately 2 years old and has completed his vet care. He is very sweet and will push his head into your hand for more petting. He is outgoing and has been a perfect gentleman since arriving. Meyer was not a fan of several of our male cats and can be a bit of a pest with the ladies so he may be best as an only cat or a friend for a young female cat. At just a year old he has lots of energy.
His rescuer feels he would do best with children over 12 years of age. He is happy and friendly. When he has had enough attention he will swish his tail to say, "I've had enough," and walk away. He means no harm but like all cats need a way to communicate enough is enough. He is a shelter favorite.
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption.
The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125 if 5 years old or younger and $75 for cats 6 years and up. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering.
