Lexi Australian Shepherd & Chocolate Labrador Retriever Mix Willingboro, NJ

Lexie is just the perfect family dog! She lived in a home with children and was well cared for until recently. When Lexie's former owner was arrested, she was left for 6 days to fend for herself outside in the cold, without food or water. When we got word we drive right down and she came right to us and jumped into the car! She is currently in a foster home and is doing amazing! She absolutely adores children and is great with other dogs of all sizes. Lexie is about 5 years old, and weighs 67 lbs. She needs to loose about 10 lbs. she is completely house trained. She has been trained basic obedience, she sits and stays for her food, and comes when she is called. Lexie's manners are impeccable, she does not jump on people and automatically sits when you go to pet her or put her leash on. She loves everyone she meets and is very quiet in the house, she loves to lay on the couch or at your feet and relax, but also very much enjoys her daily walks.
Lexie will injure herself to get out of a crate and she does not need to be crated. She is 1000% housebroken and doesn't chew (I've never ever left a foster loose so that says a lot about trust.. Lexie will chase cats, she won't go crazy if she sees one out walking but she should not be placed in a home with cats. She is the easiest dog I've ever had (including my own dogs), as long as she is not crated or around cats she is about as perfect as they come!
