Vega Australian Shepherd & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Springfield, MO

Hi, my name is Vega. I am a beautiful 2-year-old, 40lb, Australian Shepard/Staffordshire Terrier mix with a pretty smile. I love people of all ages and adore my foster families 2 and 5-year-old children; we like to cuddle and play tug of war. I also love to play tug of war and wrestle with my 25lb foster dog brother; although sometimes I’m a little too rough because I forget I’m bigger and stronger. I sometimes chew on stuff I shouldn’t but if I have opinions of “my” toys to choose from I will chew on those. I LOVE to chew and find the squeakers in toys. I love to play outside with my dog siblings then come in to rest on the carpet. I listen to commands and will sit and I am working on staying. I haven’t met cats or livestock so I am not sure how I would respond to those. I do not bark a lot so an apartment or big truck would be fine for my home as well as a traditional home with a privacy fence or someone taking me leashed on walks. I could probably jump a short fence. I do well on a leash although I have to be reminded not to pull when I am excited. The only request that I have is that my new home does not have an “alpha” dog already there because that is a role I like to have.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
