This affectionate black cat is in need of a permanent home.
The family who rescued her from starvation in the cold outdoors around Jackson is allergic to cats. Since December 30th she has been cared for by Spring Creek Animal Hospital and Dr. Dan where she has received health care for mild diabeties and an abscessed tooth. She was given the temporary name of Trax because her rescuers initially saw only tracks in the snow before she came toward their arms from behind a sagebush. Trax is about 8 lbs. and likely between 10 and 12 years old. She is very friendly, sweet and needs a calm and caring, safe, and warm environment for her elder years.
