Meet Ward

Interested in adopting a little friend who pretty much looks like the cutest stuffed animal at FAO Schwartz? Helllllo Ward! Ward looks like a mini super fuzzy and soft yellow lab puppy who is still a puppy of sorts at about 10 months old but will likely remain small at about 30 lbs even when full grown. Who could resist loving Ward? Ummmm, we have NO idea but would worry about someone who could resist his sweet face and super sweet and fun nature. Ward arrived at the farm pretty overwhelmed but boy has he come out of his shell! He loves all of the other dogs and has the cutest play bounce and roll that he uses to entice others into a friendly game of chase or tug of war. Ward is still somewhat unsure of house living things, as he likely has never lived in one but showed on his foster weekend adventures that it took him less then 24 hours to evidence risk of kissing his people to death and adjusting well to a home environment. Ward is simply perfect in a crate and is not noise or demanding in any fashion. He would do best in a home with another dog to help him increase his confidence and show him the ropes, the type of dog does not matter as Ward will only see a friend. Training classes will also help him to bond with you and are another option for increasing confidence. We have NO doubt that Ward will be the life of the party in suburbia in no time and for real for real will be the best stuffed animal you ever cuddled with that you will wonder how you did without him all this time!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.

The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
