Rufus (Medical Hold) Beagle Wake Forest, NC

We love our beagles at Saving Grace and are always amazed how many amazing ones we find in rural shelters. While Rufus loves to catch a good scent he’s decided he’s a lover, not a hunter. This sweet, social boy would much rather play ball in the backyard or snuggle with you on the couch than hop in the back of a pick-up truck to track something down. Rufus does that whole body wag when you talk to him or he gets excited and it’s just about the most endearing thing ever. He just can’t contain his excitement at the thought of someone petting him or scooping him up for a quick nuzzle before his playtime outside. At 5 yrs. old and about 17 lbs. Rufus is going to make someone a really wonderful family dog. Just be prepared for a whole lot of affection! To meet Rufus simply complete an adoption application and we’ll let you know when you can come by for a visit.

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace!
