Meet Ann
My name is Ann. I'd like to share a little bit about myself with you. You see, I was on my own for a little while and I didn't really trust humans enough to come when called, so Rescue One had to trap me. Once I realized it was ok to trust again, I finally relaxed for everyone to see my sweet side. Then I went into the Puppies for Parole program to gain more confidence. While I was there I learned basic commands. I loved learning so much that I didn't want to leave but they told me I had to because there wasn't any more they could teach me, so here I am.
I am a 2 year old 50 lb Shepherd mix. All I want to do is play and learn. Will you be the one to help me with that? I would do best in a home with a fur sibling around my size. I play a little too ruff for the little guys. I would need a place without children too, at least the little ones. I get so excited that I would knock them down. I am crate trained, leash trained, house trained and treat trained. As you have read, I LOVE to be trained and I learn quick! I also love to run hard and play hard so a fenced yard is a must! I am shy at first but after a couple of hours I will shower you with love and affection. I love hard too! Will you be my new best friend? I'd love to meet you!
*I have graduated Pups for Parole training program. Due to graduating with flying colors, I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I learned!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit rescueonespringfield.com/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*

*Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home.
