Meet Colin

Talk, dark and fluffy ISO forever family. Need we say more? You do see this picture right?? Colin is a border collie and Aussie mix most likely who is about 10 months old and will be about 55 to 60 lbs full grown. Colin is a smarty pants for sure who will thrive most in a family that can provide him with the exercise and stimulation that would make him most happy and fulfilled. Looker that he is, Colin likes to take center stage and who could blame him, not hard to adore that kind of sweet and handsome. As a result, Colin would likely do best in a home where he is an only dog. He is very social with people of all kinds and will settle easily into a family. Colin does well in his crate and clearly has a good understanding of bathroom rules! Colin would excel in training which would serve to stimulate his mind as well as strengthen the bond between him and his people. Such activities would therefore be a win win! He could as easily take a mile jaunt around the subdivision as accompany you on a 10 mile hike in the woods, he is game as long as you are there! In this new year, why not come on out and meet a new dog that will keep you on your toes, give you reason to exercise, motivation to keep your hair as good looking as his and incentive to live life to the fullest!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.

The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
