Meet Aurora

And yes folks, we do have another member of the mini beagles club and her name is Aurora! While not the tiniest of beagles we have met, Aurora is definitely on the small side at maybe 20 lbs wet and about 3 years old. Aurora, like many of the beagles who arrive at the farm, has likely lived a life of neglect without many creature comforts or love. As a result, Aurora would like you all to know that she does not look her best yet but she sure has come a long way already in a short time. She has some hair growing in nicely, which she did not have much of before due to neglect and fleas most likely. In addition, she has learned about the kindness of human hands and the wonders of a good meal. Speaking of good meals, she is on the Extra Cookies for You list as she needs to put on a number of lbs to get to her ideal weight. In true beagle form, in spite of little luck in her life, Aurora is wonderful with all dogs and gets along with everyone! She is ready to continue her education in the wonderful things that come with two legged beings. She is hoping readily that her future includes soft beds, kongs and peanut butter, sweaters to help keep her warm while her hair grows in and then more sweaters to wear just because she would love to look like a sassy lady out on the town every day! Aurora is still a bit shy and would probably be best in a home that is a little quieter with some slightly older children with whom she can snuggle during evening YouTube binges. This diamond in the rough is going to be a priceless piece of your life before you know it!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
