Meila Weimaraner & Vizsla Mix Wake Forest, NC

Meila: Foster ma said Meela and Foster fam said Mayla so her nickname became MeeMay. She is a young adult around 3 years old. Meila is a beautiful trim gal with gorgeous, soft chocolate colored fur. She has happy energy and is learning more everyday. She plays well with other dogs, people and doesn’t mind pet birds. She has no cat experience, but does adjust to new things quickly so cats may be ok. Meila loves loves loves to be outside exploring on hikes & chasing squirrels. She is reasonable on leash and with more hikes and walks she will get better in time. Car rides are also a favorite of Meila's. She is used to sleeping and having time in a crate lined with a soft sided dog bed, but really loves the end of her human's bed best for sleeping. She can curl up real tiny as too not hog the blanket from her people. After waking up she does her yoga front & back stretches and hopes you join her in getting the day moving along . She's accustomed to eating meals in a crate. Her potty training is going well and she uses designated areas in the yard to go; such as the woods or brush so you wont be caught off guard in the yard. She likes toys & treats and sometimes hides one under her bed pillow for later. Her foster ma loves her bunches and promises SG has a family just right for her that will hopefully share some adorable pictures in her forever home.

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace!
