Meet Bailey

Black is the color of all things fancy and schmancy as well as all things which make us look slimmer when we have had too much ice cream in the summer or stuffing at Thanksgiving. There is nothing boring about black and the same is true for Bailey who has been waiting for too long for a family of her own because while some may say black is basic, there is NOTHING basic or forgettable about this girl! Bailey is a lab mixed with something, we are not sure what honestly, but it provides some fluff to her coat and clearly contributes to her keen intelligence, razor focus and eyes you could lose yourself in as they speak to her being an old soul who might have seen much in her time. Bailey is about 4 to 5 years old and full grown at an athletic 40 or so lbs. This girl is ALL tomboy! While a collar with a bow would certainly be gorgeous on her, Bailey loves to play with the boys at the farm and there is no canine guy friend who is too big or too rowdy for this girl to be able to find fun and joy in running the grounds. Outside of rough housing with friends, Bailey adores spending time sitting under trees staring down squirrels. She has become almost ninja like in her ability to quietly stealth around from tree to tree but has not been able to outsmart a squirrel yet. Apparently, she thrives on a challenge. Bailey is 100% crate trained and is completely quiet in a crate. She may be a bit reserved upon first meeting as she is a smart girl who likes to assess a situation before allowing her inner spunk, joy and zest for life to show through. Bailey is loved by regular volunteers who count on her to introduce young friends to play and fun at the farm. Bailey is ready for a place of her own now and would be a wonderful addition to an active family as we suspect she could be a committed running partner as well as obviously amazing walking buddy. Bailey would love some children with whom to snuggle and run as well as share a joy for the backyard and everything that can be found in it. Come give this girl her chance at being someones dog, someones love and the someone who is the center of your life. Promise, you will never consider black basic again!
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee.

The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
