Meet Giselle

Giselle's pregnant Mom was rescued from a dumpster, and the next day, gave birth to some gorgeous puppies. The puppies are now about 10 weeks old, and Giselle joined us here at Green Dogs Unleashed, because she is deaf. Our best guess would be lab or shepherd mix (see pics for Mom's photo). As always, when you are dealing with rescues, it's nearly impossible to tell for sure.. She seems small, at only about 4 pounds right now, so maybe 30 or 35 pounds full grown. Again, that is a best guess. We have no way of knowing for sure, without knowing a breed.

Giselle is the sweetest little girl! Loves to cuddle and give kisses.. She gets along great with her foster siblings, and is doing well on potty training. She is not fully crate trained yet, but is working on it. She’s a smart little girl, so it won’t take her long. She has mastered the stairs in only 1 day . Loves to run around in the backyard.

For more information about our mission and for an application for adoption, please go to www.greendogsunleashed.com. The first step in any adoption from our rescue is to complete an adoption application.

*/*/* PLEASE NOTE: The first communication you will receive after completing an application will be via email. Please keep an eye on your inbox AND spam folders, just in case.

GDU does ask a minimum adoption donation of 300.00. This is a minimum donation and does not cover all expenses, as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation includes DAPP, rabies if age appropriate,, heartworm test and preventative, if age appropriate, and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying if the animal is medically sound to undergo surgery. This minimum donation does not even begin to cover the actual expenses each animal has while in rescue, but does go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals. In an attempt to avoid tummy upset from a sudden change of food, the foster family may include a small, transitional bag of the food the dog/puppy has been eating. And if the dog/puppy has grown attached to a special item (like a toy or blanket), they may send that along, as well.
