Meet Luna
Sweet Luna came to the ARC on the plead of a neighboring Animal Shelter where Luna was dropped off with a note to take care of her.
You see, Luna was a long term resident at the Hardin County Shelters for almost a year. A family fell in love with her and wanted to add her to the family, sadly that family resorted to the fact that they did not have the time to share their lives with a pet. Instead of returning her to where she was adopted, they took her elsewhere. Fortunately with a little networking and connections, Luna made her way back to Hardin County where she will have an opportunity to find the right family. Luna is a boxer mix, very sweet and low energy. She loves to be near people, walks well on leash, will sit for treats and does show a little interest in the cats as she is walked, however not in an aggressive mode. Weighing in around 45 pounds, she is the right size to be your next couch potato and snuggle up with you. She too is microchipped and this will be required for update upon adoption.
Adoption Fees: $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention.
