Berlioz Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Berlioz is a super playful neutered male that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 09/22/17, and was only 8-weeks-old at that time. He is independent and a bit shy, but friendly, and loves to play with other cats as well as with humans. He has greenish gold eyes, and his jet black coat is soft and velvety. Berlioz enjoys being petted and having his neck and ears scratched, but currently prefers that this happens while he is by your side instead of in your arms. Berlioz does well with other cats and would love to have a home with another playful feline that would enjoy playing kitty hide and chase games with him. Berlioz loves all toys, but his favorite is a box where he can hide and then quickly jump out of as he pounces on an unexpected catnip mouse. When playtime is over he loves nothing more than to cuddle up to another cat for a nice long nap. He loves attention and seems to want to be a cuddle kitty for humans too, but the shelter is so overwhelming for him that he is cautious about feeling trapped. He warms up quickly, but is sure to feel much more comfortable once he is in his forever home. Please stop over and spend some time with this handsome fellow soon.
