Hi There! My name is Edgar and I would be a wonderful addition to your family. My previous owner was having some health problems and could no longer take care of me, so I was surrendered to the shelter where I am waiting for the perfect new home. I was lucky to have had such a wonderful owner and we were very loyal to each other, but now it is time for me to become your best friend.

I am a very handsome and cuddly 4-and-1/2-year-old neutered male American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Everyone here loves me so much and you will too. I am a fun-loving and energetic guy looking for an active home that will make sure I am provided with plenty of daily exercise and love. I have been crate-trained, and I know sit, stay, wait, come, down, as well as being smart enough to be able to open up my kennel door here at the shelter. I may appear a bit anxious in my kennel, but please don't let that fool you because I am VERY sweet once I am outside. It's just that I love people, miss having a family, and I want you to spend some time with me to see if we are a good fit for each other.

We could go for a walk and I could show you how polite I am on leash. Everyone here loves walking me because sometimes I lean into them asking for some cuddle time and butt scratches. I love to play and I am great with kids. I even like to sleep with you, and sometimes I like to go under the covers. If you have a fenced in yard, you may see me chasing squirrels, as that is one of my favorite things to do. Mostly, I just love being with you and keeping you company while you go about your day. What I am looking forward to most is a car ride to your home for the holidays and forever!
