Meet Annabelle 'Belle'

AnnaBelle . . . what can we say about this sweet puppy . . .

This adorable (and quite gorgeous) girl is one big bag full of lovin'. At about 75 lbs and 7 months old (as of early December), she is definitely ALL puppy, and wants to play all the time. If she isn't sleeping, she wants to be playing.

Annabelle is house-trained to a doggy door, is crate trained and will be working on learning some manners while in foster care. She gets along great with her foster siblings, both young and old.

We don't know about cats, but expect she would be a bit exuberant for all but the most laid back, and dog savvy, kitty.

She is as sweet as pie and we feel would never hurt anything or anyone intentionally, we do feel that her puppy exuberance could accidentally knock a baby or toddler over, causing an unintentional injury, so a home without young kids would probably be best. She did come from a home with a little 4-year old girl, but she was raised around big dogs and was VERY dog savvy. Annabelle will definitely need a large fenced yard, and a doggy door would be best.

GDU does ask a minimum adoption donation of 300.00. This is a minimum donation and does not cover all expenses, as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation includes DAPP, rabies if age appropriate,, heartworm test and preventative, if age appropriate, and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying if the animal is medically sound to undergo surgery. This minimum donation does not even begin to cover the actual expenses each animal has while in rescue, but does go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals. In an attempt to avoid tummy upset from a sudden change of food, the foster family may include a small, transitional bag of the food the dog/puppy has been eating. And if the dog/puppy has grown attached to a special item (like a toy or blanket), they may send that along, as well.
