Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. * He has arthritis and need someone who can afford and will keep up with his medications ($10-$15 a month) and grooming. * He cannot go up and down a lot of stairs. Also, absolutely NO jumping. * I'm saying no kids because they may not understand his limitations on play. He is great with my kids, but they understand his condition and are very gentle with him. * He has a preference for women. He still won't let my husband pet him. His last owner was an older man. I'm wondering if he wasn't very nice to JoJo. * I think his ideal home would be a mature woman looking for a companion. Someone who is active enough to take him on leisurely walks but doesn't want an "exercise dog". * JoJo is a GREAT dog. He is low maintenance and super sweet. Also, very smart. He loves attention would do fine in a home with other animals as long as they were fairly calm and didn't play really rough. .

Hi there. My name is JoJo. I am a stunningly beautiful 35 lb American Eskimo. I have the face of a youngster, but I am actually 10 years old. I am a senior guy, looking for a senior lady to settle down with. I love leisurely strolls around the block and sitting at my person's feet while we watch a good movie. You see, I have arthritis, but I do not let that keep me down. I am on some great medication from the vet that keeps me feeling good and staying active. I need a furever home that will make sure I get my medications every day. They are not very expensive, but they are important to me.

My foster mom says that I am the most laid-back dog she has ever had, and so easy to take care of. I do not bark a lot, chew up stuff, or even make a mess. I am great with cats and other calm dogs. I am even crate trained and housebroken (but I am older so you do have to remind me to go out often). Because of my arthritis, I need a home without stairs or young kids.

My adoption fee is SPONSORED TO AN APPROVED HOME and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
