Tyson American Bulldog & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Levittown, NY

Tyson was saved by Pit of Our Souls Rescue after he was surrendered by his owner. Since then he has lived with foster families, as well as boarding and training to build structure and strength. Take a look at his video to see clips of his journey and progress!

Tyson is a male American Bull dog mix, approximately 3 years old. He is neutered and fully vaccinated, and is a large boy with a lot of energy. Overall he is in good health with no concern.

Behaviorally, Tyson thrives when working with people who can truly work with him. He is currently boarding at the K-9 Center in Ronkonkoma going through his agility training program - which comes free forever when this boy is adopted. Tyson is truly at his best when he is working hard. Tyson is good with other dogs and has not been reactive toward the others in the boarding facility. He has not been formally cat tested, however his size and energy level would do best without small animals in his home. Also, Tyson does best with children 12 years + due to his stature and weight, however his behavior toward children is friendly.

Tyson will be most successful with a person or family familiar with his breed and prepared to provide him structure and keep his body and mind busy. He has been waiting patiently, completing all his training, and learning how to be on his best behavior when forever families want to meet him.
