Filbert/adoption pending Domestic Short Hair Mix Medfield, MA

What can we say? We received a litter of kittens the day before Thanksgiving and we were dreaming of food. They are not the least bit nutty. They were outside trying to survive on their own in a suburban neighborhood where most of the residents would just walk on by and pretend not to notice them. One person called for help, and luckily they were rescued.

Filbert is ready for a new home. He is still a tiny bit shy and will need someone who will love to hold him, talk to him and play with him. He would be thrilled to have a cat-friendly dog or cat to be friends with. We feel he would do best in a home with children over 10 years old who will understand he needs extra TLC.

If a cat or kitten is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering when old enough.
