Meet Sade

Holy Tarnation, says Sade, this year has been more than enough excitement and this sweet young American Staffordshire terrier and bull dog mix is ready finish out 2017 with a fam of her own and no more fireworks or ado. See Sade arrived to SG after deplaning at RDU following a ride from St. John after the horrendous duo of Maria and Irma swept through this fall. Sade says she is officially done with all islands unless it is the one in your kitchen where scraps fall from to the floor! Sade is about 4 months old and has spent the last few weeks gaining weight and getting healthy as Hurricane Horrible was pretty hard on a young pup. She is feeling great and loving life and all of her new friends at the farm, though is not used to these temperatures and surely enjoys a nice sweater as tropical is not how we would describe our current weather. Sade who is about 20 lbs now will likely be about 40 full grown which places her on the smaller side of her breeds. She has been a total joy at the farm and has simply been having a blast without tearing up the furniture or eating the plants as some pups will do. She has been working hard on crate training and is making progress which will continue as she moves into a new home. Sade would be a wonderful addition to a family with any number of children of all different ages. She is an active girl who enjoys running and romping and would do well with a canine sibling though could be the life of the party as an only child. So if you cannot hop a plane to St. name the island this winter, how about bringing a piece of the islands home? A piece who is a survivor and lover of all things in spite of a whirlwind of a year!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
