Meet Ernie
Hi, my name is Ernie but you can change it if you adopt me. I was found with my sister on the streets of Springfield and don’t remember much before that. I am a mix breed according to the vet and my feet look like they would support a 40 - 60 lb adult dog. I am just such a mystery that is all the vet will say about breed. The vet gave my sister and me the birthday of August 17, 2017 so that will help you figure out how old I am. I am active, playful, curious, and loving. I am starting to get the hang of this potty training business and I kind of get it because I watch my older foster brother and sister. I sleep in my crate at night with my sister and stay in there during the day when my foster mom is gone. I guess you could call me "crate trained" especially if you give me good treats when I go in. I love celebrating my successes.
I am good with other dogs, not sure about cats, and very good with kids. Until my puppy teeth come out I have really sharp ones and need to be reminded "no bite". I love to play with my foster siblings and my sister. It would be a good idea if a dog I live with doesn't play too rough but can gently get me to settle when I get a little crazy.
The only time it bothers me to go outside to potty is when it is dark and that scares me. My foster mom walks out with me. Most of the time I sleep through the night and will go straight out to do my business in the morning. If you think I sound like the boy for you, or if you are interested in me and my sister, please put in an application as soon as possible. My foster mom says I am such a doll it won’t take long to find my forever family. I still need to be neutered and have had 2 rounds of shots.
I would be absolutely adorable with a red bow as a Christmas gift!!
My fee is $150 and includes 3 rounds of dewormer, 2 parvo/distemper vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, spay/neuter, 2 wellness exams, and microchip! *adopters are responsible for final round of parvo/distemper vaccination and rabies vaccine if adopted before 12 weeks of age*
