Meet Hugo
Hugo is a 7 year old Chihuahua - he is a happy and friendly guy. Weighing 6.5 pounds and full of affection, he will make someone a wonderful lap dog as he loves to snuggle! Hugo is great on a leash, knows "sit", and is working on "watch me." He is housetrained, and will signal when he needs to go out.
Hugo has been known to get “small-dog syndrome” where he thinks he is in charge of everything. He is currently in a foster home where he knows his place, and gets along with everyone, including dogs and cats. But, his adopter would have to be sure not to let tiny Hugo try to take over in his new home. Some small dog experience is recommended.
Due to his tiny stature, Hugo must go to a home with no children under the age of 8 years.
His minimum adoption donation is $195 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
