Meet Trix
REQUIREMENTS: Secure, fenced yard, another playful dog in the home, only children 10 years or older
Volunteers travel to homes so we can only accept adoption applications from Chatham Kent, Windsor, Sarnia, London and points within these boundaries.
Trix is a spunky, happy 1 and a half year old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix who has lots of personality packed into his 12 pounds! His tail is always in motion and this little guy is sociable with both people and other dogs.
He is sweet and affectionate and loves to shower his people with kisses! Trix sleeps in bed with his foster and is always cuddled up as close as possible. He loves to be the center of attention and one of his favorite things is being cradled like a baby while getting his tummy rubbed!
He loves to run zoomies around the backyard and his long legs allow him to jump unexpectedly high for a little fellow. Although he loves to be running around outside or playing in the house with his toys, he also loves snuggling in his doggie bed or with his people.
Trix has some quirky habits such as jumping in the bathtub when it is empty!
What is the best home for Trix? He would undoubtedly love a playmate in his forever home or be in a situation where there is someone home with him most of the time. Being speedy, Trix has potential for door dashing so precautions must be taken to keep him safe. He is eager to learn and needs someone who would provide some basic training. He would enjoy being with respectful children who are age 10 and older.
Trix is a very loveable, affectionate fellow who will be a real joy for his family!
