Maxine and Marlene are two of the nicest young cats on the planet. Here at Homeward Trails we meet a lot of nice cats so we don't say this lightly. These two sister are just a little over 8 months and eager to find their forever homes. They are bonded so we'd love to find a home for them together.
Maxine is super adventurous and loves to explore. She loves to play, and especially loves string toys. She’ll run around and then suddenly leap on your lap to rub her face on your chin, as if to remind you she’s still there, and then runs around to play again. She loves other cats and is fine with dogs. Maxine loves to be held, and will put her head right under you chin and purr.
Marlene's foster says she's reserved sister - it takes her a day or two to warm up to new people and new situations. But once she knows you, she's just SO wonderful! She greets her fosters with little butt wiggles and she’ll jump on the couch immediately so she’s closer to you for pets. She will sit on your lap for hours and just purr, purr, purr. If you stop petting her, and she’s not done with you, she’ll start prodding your hand. She loves to play too. She is obsessed with cat nip toys. She throws them up in the air and then will rub her body all over the toy, before repeating the process.
Maxine and Marlene must be adopted together or to a home with a young, playful, welcoming cat or kitten.
The girls are up to date on their shots and spayed.
Breed Estimate: DSH, black and white
De-Clawed: no
Approximate weight: growing
Approximate age: 9 months as of June 2018
The adoption fee for these two gorgeous sisters is $275 for the pair, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay surgery. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered.
