Introducing DEGENERES of the D puppies!
8 weeks old, 3 girls and 3 boys, red/blue heeler/Australian cattle dog/Australian Shepherd mixes, ranging from 7 lbs to 12 lbs. Available for adoption!
These poor babies were dumped in a box on a country road and left to fend for themselves. A good Samaritan found them and brought them to us to care for and find them homes. They were covered in fleas and ticks, and when she found them, they were eating an animal they found dead on the side of the road.
They are all very sweet and are now safe and warm in their foster home, with no more fleas and no more worrying about where their next meal will come from.
Local adopters only and a fenced yard is required to adopt.
$150 adoption fee includes their spay/neuter, current vaccines, started on heartworm and flea prevention, deworming, and micropchip.
Puppy adopters MUST BE within a one hour radius of Cincinnati. Their spay/neuter will be done locally at one of our approved vets when they reach the appropriate age. This is included with their adoption. Our spay/neuter coverage is only valid if it is done through one of our approved vets.
All puppies are given all age appropriate vaccines by Peppermint Pig Animal rescue. Adopters will be responsible for any remaining vaccines after adoption.

Once your application is submitted, you will be redirected to a confirmation page on our website. This is your confirmation that we received your application. Please read the page thoroughly so you will know what to expect next in our adoption process.
Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.
IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
