Meet Mark

Mark is a very sweet, playful and smart Doberman/ German shepherd puppy who was 1-year-old on 3-November 2017.

He is approximately 50 pounds, neutered, fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention and flea & tick protection.

Mark was rescued from a neglectful situation and was very malnourished. He has been in foster care since the end of September and has gained 15 pounds during this time.

Mark is a very well behaved puppy and loves plush squeaky toys & elk antlers and likes to take long naps in between playtime.

He is not destructive, understands No, Drop It, Come and is learning Sit. He walks nicely on a leash with no pulling and will take his time to smell everything along the way.

He rides very well in cars but is still learning how to get in and out. He is good with other dogs after a proper introduction.

He is not food aggressive. He tends to be a bit of a grazer when he eats.

Mark is soft mouthed but has shown prey drive tendencies so toy breed dogs and possibly cats may tap into that prey drive.

He LOVES playing with other dogs that are close to his size and have similar energy. Mark is house trained but needs to have a consistent and routine potty schedule to continue he success.

Having another dog in the house will be very beneficial to Mark as he loves to play and is learning from his foster brothers and sisters. Mark also makes a fabulous “watch dog” as he only alerts with his deep bark when there’s reason.

Mark is a little shy when meeting new people but once he warms up to you, he bonds very quickly. Loud truck engines, garbage trucks, diesel motors, etc. can make him a little nervous.

Mark will do best in a home where he is not left alone for more than a few hours a day. His ideal home would have another dog of similar size and energy and a family offering unconditional love. If Mark sounds like the perfect fit for you, please put in an application at the website below.
