Brutus Tibetan Mastiff Eau Claire, WI

Brutus is a very mellow, easy-going, chill, 2-year-old male Tibetan Mastiff. His handsome thick coat and majestic presence will instantly melt your heart, and when you feel him gently nudge you with his body you can't help but fall in love with this big fellow. He is super sweet, loving, good with cats, other dogs, strangers, and children. He is VERY polite on leash, is housebroken, calm, gentle, and knows sit and shake. Brutus was surrendered to the shelter on 10/01/17 because he kept getting out and going on adventures. He is a highly intelligent, independent thinker, and although he is a real sweetheart, he is not for everyone. Brutus will need to be neutered before leaving the shelter, which may be helpful, but his desire to run seems to be more separation anxiety. When left alone, he has been known to push his way out of kennels, go over 6 foot fences, break windows, and go through screens. Brutus is very affectionate and easy to fall in love with! If you think that Brutus may be the perfect fit for your household, and there is someone around most of the time, please stop over to meet him!!!
